Dear Mr. Steirheim:
In accordance with the conditions of the purchase agreement,
I would like to offer the property I purchased in 1967 back to
the City in its unimproved state. The property consists of the
West 300' of Lot 6..-9.f.. the Clearwater Industrial Park.

In explanation of this decision, I have faced a setback in
the growth of my contracting business and not only do I need the
money invested in this property to use as working capital, but
the $2,000 payment due shortly on this property would be a hard-
ship to me at this time.
I hope this letter will receive your kindest consideration
and that a decision can be reached as soon as possible.
I am enclosing a copy of a letter received from the City
Attorney regarding this property in hope that it will have bear-
ing on your decision.
