WHEREAS, it has been jointly requested by Mildred H. Center,
the owner of Lots 23 to 31, inclusive, and the Clearwater Federal Savings
and Loan Association, the owner of Lots 14 to 22, inclusive, all in Block
"B", Hibiscus Gardena Subdivision, that the City of Clearwater, Florida,
vacate the West 180 feet of that certain platted and dedicated 20 foot wide
alley in said Block "B", Hibiscus Gardens Subdivision; and
VTHEREAS, the said portion of the alley has never been opened by
the City nor improved in any way and is not necessary nor required, and
it is deemed to be to the best interest and advantage of the City and the
general public that the same be vacated;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
IN SESSION DULY AND REGULARLY ASSEMBLED, AS
FOLLOWS:
1. That the following described portion of that certain platted
and dedicated alley way:
The West 180 feet of that certain 20 foot wide alley in
Block "B", Hibiscus Gardens Subdivision, according to
map or plat thereof as recorded in Plat Book 14, pages
55 thru 59 inclusive, of the Public Records of Pinellas
County, Florida,
be and the same is hereby vacated, closed and released, and the City of
Clearwater hereby quit claims and releases all of its right, title and
interest thereto to the persons, firms or corporations entitled thereto
by law.
2. That certified copies of this Resolution be furnished to
Mildred H. Center and Clearwater Federal Savings and Loan Association.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 16th day of March, A. D. 1964.
