RESOLUTION
No. 64 - 43
WHEREAS, the City of Clearwater, Florida, has experienced a
tremendous growth, both in population and area, in recent ears; and
WHEREAS it is, therefore

expand the sanitary sewer system of the City of Clearwater to better provide

for the protection of the health and welfare of its citizens; and

#`'`? WHEREAS the 'Cif of Clearwater Florida has under Public Law
560 applied to the United States of America, through the Housing and Home
Finance Administrator for an advance of funds to be used for the final plans for
the construction of sanitary sewer improvements to include interceptors and
ws additions to sewage treatment plant; and
WHEREAS, in response to said application, an offer of an advance of
funds in the amount of $53, 000. 00 has been made to the City of Clearwater by
the United States of America through the Housing and Home Finance Administrator;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
IN SESSION DULY AND REGULARLY ASSEMBLED, AS
FOLLOWS:
That the City of Clearwater hereby formally accepts the offer of
said advance of funds in the amount of $53, 000. 00 and James R. Stewart,
City Manager, is authorized to execute any and all instruments necessary
to formally complete and carry out the acceptance of said advance of funds.
