WHEREAS, it is also proposed to extend Myrtle Avenue southwardly
to Largo; and
WHEREAS, such extensions would provide rapid inter-city movement
of traffic and be of benefit to the entire area;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
IN SESSION DULY AND REGULARLY ASSEMBLED, AS
FOLLOWS:
1. That the City Commission of the City of Clearwater respectfully
requests that the Board of County Commissioners of Pinellas County and the
State Road Department take steps to complete Myrtle Avenue by approving
the plan and making the proposed extensions a part of their respective road
budgets and designate the same as a secondary road project.
Z. That a certified copy of this Resolution be furnished to the Board
of County Commissioners of Pinellas County, Clearwater, Florida., as an
official request for said approval.
