RESOLUTION
No. 62 ^ 135
WHEREAS, through the participation of both the Federal Government
and the Municipal Government of the City of Clearwater, Clearwater Pass,
the main entrance to Clearwater Harbor, has been greatly improved by the
dredging and widening of the channel; and
WHEREAS, said improvement has been in the making for many years;

r?; ^ WHEREAS, the said channel has not been marked or has been improperly
?,?s •:tf;' . marked and many boats have been damaged and gone aground by the said lack
of proper marking; and
} , WHEREAS, said marking is the responsibility of the United States
Coast Guard;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY

l?4 `4yi FLORIDA, IN SESSION DULY AND REGULARLY
ASSEMBLED, AS FOLLOWS:
3, That the said United States Coast Guard be and is hereby requested
? a to properly mark the channel and entrance to Clearwater Harbor to safeguard
the boating public against navigational hazards.
