WHEREAS, in recent years the City of Clearwater has experienced
a, substantial growth in population; and
WHEREAS, due to said population growth, it has become necessary
for the City of Clearwater to construct certain new sanitary sewer lines; and
WHEREAS, the City of Clearwater presently has underway the con-
struction of the Clearwater East Interceptor Sanitary Sewer Line, for which
bids have been received and the money is in the bank available to do the con-
templated work; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to obtain from the Trustees of the Internal
Improvement Fund of the State of Florida an easement in order to proceed
with said construction; and
WHEREAS, no rights of any other individuals or parties will be affected
by the granting of such easement;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
IN SESSION DULY AND REGULARLY ASSEMBLED, AS
FOLLOWS:
1. The City of Clearwater officially requests that the Trustees of
the Internal Improvement Fund of the State of Florida grant to the City of
Clearwater the following described easement, which will be used by the City
of Clearwater in the construction of the Clearwater East Interceptor Sanitary
Sewer Line:
Begin at the Southeast corner of Lot 16 of Wm. Brown's
Subdivision of Bay View, Florida, as recorded in Plat Book
1, page 13 of the Public Records of Hillsborough County,
Florida, of which Pinellas County was formerly a part;
run thence S 003710311 W along the Southerly extension of
the Easterly line of said Lot 16, 38. 58 feet for a point of
beginning of the center line of a 15.0 foot permanent
easement for construction and maintenance of a sanitary
sewer line with a temporary one year construction easement
of 7. 5 feet an both sides of the permanent easement; said
P. O. B. lying 413.54 feet West and 894, 59 feet South of the North-
east corner of the Southeast Quarter of Section 17, Township 29
South, Range 16 East, thence along said center-line; N 810331551,
W 218. 95 feet; S 8B019'3211 W 290. 55 feet; S 69046'05" W 404. 55
feet; S 78025155" W 299.40 feet; S 5602712511 W 224.85 feet;
S 7002711811 W 88. 15 feet and N 89022'57" W 26.0 feet to end
of easement. Said point lying S 0037903" W 1217.88 feet along
the Westerly line of Wm. Brown's Subdivision from, the Quarter
Section Line less that part deeded to Charles R. Anderson and
Celestine A. Anderson, his wife; also less that part as shown
