RESOLUTION RECOGNIZING THE GOOD WILL OF
HIS EXCELLENCY MIGUEL YDIGORAS FUENTES.
PRESIDENT OF GUATEMALA, AND AWARDING

WHEREAS, the City of Clearwater has established an appropriate
menial to be given by it to distinguished friends of our City', and

WHEREAS, His Excellency Miguel Ydigoras Fuentes, President
?, r ???.?.,'i'• -• ?1 ? of Guatemala, because of his sincere friendship toward the United
States of America, entertained our Mayor and Commissioner Insco in

his beautiful country;
WHEREAS, because of his distinguished accomplishments in govern-
ment and international diplomacy and because of his humanitarian efforts,
the City of Clearwater wishes to officially recognize His Excellency

Miguel Ydigoras Fuentes;
?t NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COMMMSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER,
FLORIDA, IN SESSION DULY AND REGULARLY
ASSEMBLED, AS FOLLOWS:
1. That the City of Clearwater officially recognizes His Excellency
r Miguel Ydigoras Fuentes, President of Guatemala, and appreciates his
kindness and good will toward our City officials.
2. That the City of Clearwater medal is hereby awarded to His
Excellency Miguel Ydigoras Fuentes in recognition of his friendship and
good will toward our City and the United States of America.
3. That a duplicate original of this Resolution, together with the
Clearwater medal, eha11 be delivered to said Miguel Ydigoras Fuentes,
