RESOLUTION RECOGNIZING THM DISTINGUISHED
SERVICE OF RUGZNX L. PEARCE, TO THE CITY
OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA
WHEREAS, the City of Clearwater, Florida, has established an
appropriate medal to be awarded by it to persons who have rendered
outstanding service to the City; and
WHEREAS, Eugene L. Pearce has rendered outstanding public
service to the City by formerly serving as its Mayors and
WHEREAS, it is desired to recognise the outstanding public
service and unselfiah contribution of his time and energy to the affairs
of the City, by authorising the award to him of the City of Clearwater
medals
NOW. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY Or CLEARWATAM, S'LORIDA,
IN SBSZON DULY AND REGULARLY ASSEMBLED, IRS
FOLLOWS3
1. That the City of Clearwater, Florida, officially recognises
cad eVressea its appreciation to former Mayor Eugene L. Pearce
for his outstanding public service to the City of Clearwater.
2. That the City of Clearwater medal, is hereby awarded to
Eugene L. Pearce for his services as aforesaid, and same shall be
presented to him publicly at the earliest opportunity.
3. That a duplicate original of this Resolution shall be delivered
to maid Eugene L. Pearce.
