NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMkISSION OF ?HE CITY OF CLEARWATER FLORIDA,
IN SESSION DULY AND REGULARLY ASSDBfXD, AS
FOLLOWS:
1. That the joint proposal of Goodbody & Company, Herbert J.
Sims & Co., Inc., Clement A. Evans & Co., Inc., and Arch W. Roberts
referred to in the preambles hereof, be and the sauce is hereby
accepted, and the following described Certificates of the City of
Clearwater, Florida, be and they are hereby awarded and sold to the
said purchaser referred to in the preambles hereof.
$1,500,000 - BRIDGE REVENUE CERTIFICATES dated
November 1, 1960, numbered I to
1500, inclusive, in the denomin-
ation of $1,000 each, bearing
interest at the rate of 4 3/4
payable semiannually on May 1
and November 1 of each-year, all
maturing on November 1, 2000.
2. That the proper officers of the City, be, and they
are hereby authorized and directed to execute said Certificates
when prepared and to deliver same to said purchaser upon payment

WHEREAS, pursuant to notice heretofore duly published
for the sale of Bridge Revenue Certificates, dated November 1,
1960, the following sealed proposal has been received:
The joint proposal of Goodbody & Company,
Herbert J. Sims & Co., Inc. Clement A. Evans
& Co. Inc., and Arch W. Roberts offoring to
pay tie sum of $1,455,000, togeUer with accrued
interest from November 1 1961 to the date of
delivery thereof, for said Certificates bearing
interest at the rate of. 4 3/4 % per annum on
the Certificates maturing in the year 2000.
WHEREAS, the proposal of Goodbody & Company, Herbert J'.
Sims & Co., Inc., Clement A. Evans & Co., Inc., and Arch W. Roberts
referred to in the preamble hereof, in all respects complies with
said notice of sale:
