No. 61 - 113
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 828 empowers the City Commission
to fix gas rates and air conditioning rates by resolution; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission on July 20, 1959 passed
Resolution No. 59-75 establishing the rates to be charged for natural
gas, service charges, air conditioning rates, purchased gas cost
adjustment and new services; and
WHEREAS, it is now deemed advisable to amend said Resolution
No. 59-75 by rescinding Schedule B, Air Conditioning Rate;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER,
FLORIDA, IN SESSION DULY AND REGULARLY
ASSEMBLED, AS FOLLOWS:
1. That Schedule B - Air Conditioning Rate of Resolution
No. 59-75 shall read as follows:
1133. Air Conditioning Rate
Availability
These rate schedules are available on a year-round
basis to all buildings or premises using gas for air con-
ditioning purposes, either by using combination cooling-
heating equipment or cooling only equipment, but shall
not be available to premises not having air cooling equip-
ment, and shall be subject to the provisions set forth
hereunder:
(a) Residential
Where all gas used on the premises is measured
through a single meter, the rate for gas containing
not less than 1000 BTU per cubic foot shall be:
First 10 Therms, or less $5.00 minimum
Next 40 Therms @ 100 per T
All over 50 Therms @ 8? per T
(b) Commercial_
The following rate shall apply for air conditioning,
providing said service is separately metered and
that said service is adjacent to the City mains and
where the City has sufficient supply of gas:
First 10 Therms, or less $5. 00 minimum
Next 40 Therms @ 200 per T
Next 950 Therms @ 80 per T
All over 1000 Therms @ 70 per T
Minimum deposit shall be twice the average bill.
Above; rates are subject to 10% City Utility Tax where applicable,

Purchased Gas Cost Adjustment
The charges specified in this schedule shall be subject
to an adjustment per Therm for increases or decreases
in the supplier's rate for purchased gas in accordance
with the provisions of the purchased gag cost adjustment
in the City's Tariff. "
2. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its passage.
