WHEREAS, It is necessary to obtain all engineering data and cost
estimates In connection with the approach roads to Little Pass Bridge as
rapidly as possible in order to proceed with the Little Pass Bridge project,
sell the revenue certificates thereof and commence construction of said project
prior to December 31, 1961,
NOW THEREFORE, be It resolved by the City Commission In session duly
and regularly assembled, as follows:
1. That the City Manager be instructed to immediately request
Warren Cason, District Road Board Member for the First District, State Road
Department, Tampa, Florida, to forthwith cause the Engineering Department of
the State Road Department to prepare necessary plans, specifications and cost
estimates In connection with the approach roads to Little Pass Bridge in
order to connect the same with existing road facilities; and
2. That the City Manager be further instructed to request the
State Road Department and/or the Pinellas County Commission to immediately
designate the proposed facility In order to entitle it to secondary road
fund assistance.
3. That copies hereof be forwarded to the Pinellas County
Commission and Mr. Warren Cason, District Road Board Member for the First
` District. State Road Department. Tampa. Florida.
