WHEREAS, the Florida Power Corporation has received a
request from Shell Oil Company and Patrick D. Johnson, lessees
at the Small Marina on Clearwater Beach for the conversion of their
single phase electric service to a three phase installation; and
WHEREAS, in order to provide this type of service, it will
be necessary to install additional underground facilities on both
properties and a three phase pad mounted transformer on the
property presently leased from the City of Clearwater by the Shell
Oil Company; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary that the City of Clearwater, as
owner and lessor of the real estate over which the easements needed
to complete this work are to run, join the lessees in granting said
easements;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
IN SESSION DULY AND REGULARLY ASSEMBLED:
1. That the appropriate officials of the City of Clearwater,
Florida, be authorized and directed to execute and deliver to the
Florida Power Corporation the two easements requested,
1961.
