RESOLUTION
No. 61 -51
WHEREAS, pursuant to notice heretofore duly published for the
sale of $840, 000 Utilities Tax Improvement Certificates, Series of 1960,
dated December 1, 1960, the following sealed proposals have been
received:
The proposal of Goodbody & Company, offering to pay
the sum of bright Hundred Twenty-four Thousand Eight
Hundred Eighty Dollars ($824, 880), together with accrued
interest from the date of said Certificates to the date of
delivery thereof, for said Certificates bearing interest at
the rate of three and one-half per centum (3-1/2%) per annum
on the Certificates maturing in the years 1962 to 1971, in-
clusive, at the rate of three and ten hundredths per centum
(3. 107b) per annum on the Certificates maturing in the
year 1972, at the rate of three and twenty hundredths
per centum (3. 2016) per annum on the Certificates
maturing in the year 1973, at the rate of three and one-
fourth per centum (3-1/4%) per annum on the Certificates
maturing in the years 1974 and 1975, at the rate of three
and one-half per centum (3-1/2%) per annum on the
Certificates maturing in the years 1976 and 1977, at
the rate of three and sixty hundredths per centum
(3. 60116) per annum on the Certificates maturing in the
years 1978 and 1979, at the rate of three and five-
eighths per centum (3-5/80) per annum on the Certi-
ficates maturing in the years 1980 and 1981, at the rate
of three and seventy hundredths per centum (3. 707o) per
annum on the Certificates maturing in the years 1982
to 1989, inclusive, and at the rate of three and one-half
per centum (3-'1/276) per annum on the Certificates
maturing in the year 1990, being a net interest cost of
Five Hundred Ninety-one Thousand Seven Hundred Forty-
Two and 50/ 100 Dollars ($591, 742. 50).
The proposal of Leedy, Wheeler & Alleman, Inc.,
offering to pay the sum of Eight Hundred Twenty-three
Thousand Two Hundred Dollars ($823, 200), together with
accrued interest from the date of said Certificates to
the date of delivery thereof, for said Certificates bearing
interest at the rate of five per centum (501b) per annum on
the Certificates maturing in the years 1962 to 1971, in-
clusive, at the rate of three and eighty hundredths per
centum (3. 80%) per annum on the Certificates maturing
in the years 1972 to 1989, inclusive, and at the rate of
two and three-eighths per centum (2-3/87o) per annum' on
the Certificates maturing in the year 1990, being a net
interest cost of Six Hundred One Thousand Five Hundred
Sixty-six and 25/100 Dollars ($601,566. 25).

the sum of Eight Hundred Twenty-throe Thousand Two
Hundred Dollars ($823, 200), together with accrued in-
terest from the date of said Certificates to the date of
delivery thereof, for said Certificatos bearing interest
at the rate of two per centum (276) per annum on the
Certificates maturing in the year 1962, at the rate of
two and twenty hundredths per centum (2. 20%) per annum
on the Certificates maturing in the year 1963, at the
rate of two and forty hundredths per centum (2.40%)
per annum on the Certificates maturing in the year 1964,
at the rate of two and sixty hundredths per centum (2. 60%)
per annum on the Certificates maturing in the year 1965,

preambles hereof, is the highest and most advantageous of said bids, and in
all other respects complies with said notice of sale;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLOR-
IDA, IN SESSION DULY AND REGULARLY ASSEMBLED,
AS FOLLOWS:
1. That the proposal of Goodbody & Company, referred to in the
preambles hereof, be and the same is hereby accepted, and the following
described Certificates of the City of Clearwater, Florida, be and they
are hereby awarded and sold to the said purchaser referred to in the
preambles hereof.
