of as recorded in Plat Book 14, Pages 55 to 59 inclusive,
Public Records of Pinellas County, Florida, has requested

ter renounce and disclaim any interest of the City and the
public in said vacated portion of the right of way:
That portion of Pierce Street being that cer-
tain tract of land lying between a northerly
projection of the Last and West lot lines of
°D Lots 1 and 2, Block F, Hibiscus Gardens Sub-
division according to the map or plat thereof
as recorded in Plat Book 14, Pages 55 to 59,
inclusive, Public Records of Pinellas County,
Florida and the southerly boundary of Pierce
Street as presently constituted in the City
of Clearwater, Florida;

has never been opened, developed or used by the general public,

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COIi4biISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEMLATER, FLOR-
IDA, IN SESSION DULY AND REGUURLY ASSEMBLED,
AS FOLLOWS:
1. That the portion of Pierce Street as shown on the
plat of Hibiscus Gardens Subdivision, as recorded in Plat Book
14, Pages 55 to 59 inclusive, Public Records of Pinellas County,
Florida and described as:
That portion of Pierce Street being that certain
tract of land lying between a northerly projection
of the Fast and West lot lines of Lots 1 and 2,
Block F, Hibiscus Gardens Subdivision, according
to the nap or plat thereof as recorded in Plat
Book 14, Pages 55 to 59 inclusive, Public Records
of Pinellas County, Florida and the southerly boun-
dary of Pierce Street as presently constituted in
the City of Clearwater, Florida;
be and the same is hereby vacated subject to existing easements
for utilities, if any, and the City of Clearwater hereby
renounces and disclaims any right of the City and the

public 'in said vacated right of way and title and iaterest in
and to said property shall revert to those persons entitled
thereto by law.
, 2. That for purposes of the record and.at the re-
quest of the aforesaid owner, William M. Goza, the proper
City officials be and they are hereby instructed to execute
a quitclaim deed in accordance with this resolution and de-
liver the same to the said William M. Goza for recording in
the Public Records of Pinellas County, Florida.
3. This resolution shall take effect immediately
upon its passage.
PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 28th day of December, 1960.
