lkIEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clear-
water, Florida, has been requested to approve a consolidated
Service Club sign to be erected and constructed through and
by the efforts of the Council of Clearwater Service Clubs, at
its expense, measuring 81 x 20' in size at three proposed loca'
tions, to-wit: The Southeast corner of Crest Lake Park, the
Northwest corner of Stevenson Creel: Park, and on private property
fronting on South Fort Narrison Avenue near the South City limit
line, and
WHEREAS, the first two of the above locations are on
City-owned property, and the last location is on privately-owned
property, and

1,RIEREAS, it is found by the City Commission to be in
the best interests of the City of Clearwater to permit the erection
of said signs; and
WHEREAS, said signs are found to be commercial adver-
tising signs, conforming to the area limits designated by the
Sign Ordinance of the City of Clearwater and that specific Commis-
sion approval is necessary in order to permit the erection of the
signs.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY C014MISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEAR-
WRTER, FLORIDA, III SESSION DULY AND
REGULARLY ASSEMBLED,, AS FOLLCIdS :
1. The Council of Clearwater Service Clubs be and it
is hereby authorized, at its expense, to erect one consolidated
Civic Club sign measuring not more than 8' x 20' at each of the
above mentioned locations on City-ovmed property; and the Commis-
sion does further waive any objections to the erection of one
additional identical sign on privately-owned property hereinabove
designated.

?., It is specifically understood and agreed that
as a condition to the erection of said signs, the Council of
Clearwater Service Clubs-as well as all of its participating
clubs will not erect any other or further service club signs
in the City of Clearwater so long as the above signs are in
existence under the authority of this Resolution.
3, Said Council of Clearwater Service Clubs and/or
each of its participating Service Clubs shall beautify and
