NO. 60 - 86
WHEREAS, the City of Clearwater has found it necessary
to extend, construct and maintain Jones Street over and across
the Seaboard Air Line Railroad'Company's right of way and tracks
SV 12 and SV 41 at a point 2,257 feet South of the Railroad's
mile post 874, in Clearwater, Pinellas County, Florida, and;
WHEREAS, the Railroad has prepared an agreement to
that effect for formal execution by its corporate officers, as
well as the proper municipal officers of the City of Clearwater;
and
WHEREAS, the Railroad has requested a Resolution be
adopted by said City, formally approving said agreement and
authorizing the proper City officials to execute same;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CH+ COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER,
IN SESSION DULY AND REGULARLY ASSEMBLED,
AS FOLLOWS:
That the Mayor, together with the other appropriate
municipal officers of the City of Clearwater, are hereby authorized
and empowered to execute a certain agreement with the Seaboard Air
Line Railroad Company, bearing date of November 7, 1960,
in connection with the extension, construction and maintenance of
Jones Street, which is a public road or street, over and across
the Seaboard Air Line Railroad Company's mile post RE-881, in
Clearwater, Pinellas County, Florida.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 7th day of November, A. D.
1960.
