WhEREAS, the owners of Lots 2 through 9, both incLusive,
Indian Heights Subdivision abutting a certain 20 toot alley or
street known as Alice Street have requested that said alley or
street be vacated; and
WHE MS1 said alley or street has not been developed and
used by the City or the general public, and serves no useful pur-
pose, and it is deemed to be to the best interest and advantage
of the City and the general public that same be vacated; and
WHEREAS, on July 5, 1960 City Commission of the City of
Clearwater, Florida, held a pubic hearing concerning said va-
cation and there were no valid objections advanced at said public
hearing.
Nod, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF CLURWATER FLORIDA, IN SESSION DULY
AND REGULARLY ASSiRBLED, As FOilows:
1. That said alley or street, known as Alice Street, lying
adjacent to and immediately south of Lots 2 through 9, both in-
clusive, Indian Heights Subdivision, according to map or plat
thereof as recorded in Plat Book 4, Page 8, Public Records of
Pinellas County, Florida, be, and the same is hereby vacated,
closed and released, and the City of Clearwater hereby quit claims
and releases all of its 7right, title and interest thereto to per-
sons, firms or corporations entitled thereto by law, as abutting
lot owners.
