WHEREAS, by proper action of the City Commission, the
City of Clearwater acquired said right-of-way pursuant to
an agreement with said grantor, as will be shown by the pre-
vious minutes of this Commission; and,
WHEREAS the City of Clearwater does now desire to for-
mally dedicate said right-of-way for public use particularly
with respect to street purposes.
NOW THEREFORE,•BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COP24ISSION
OF NE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA, IN SESSION DULY
AND REGULARLY ASSEMBLED, AS FOLLOWS:
1. The following described property be and the same
is hereby dedicated for use by the general public as street
right-of-way or such other public uses as may hereafter be
deemed necessary by the City Commission, to wit;

WHEREAS, the City of Clearwater has acquired certain
of the rights-of-way in Hibiscus Gardens Subdivision,as tho
same is recorded in Plat Book 14, page 57, Public Records
of Pinellas County, Florida, in order to realign and extend
Pierce Street; and,
S'II'IEREAS, it was necessary to acquire certain of the said
rights-of-way from Walthen A. Allbritton, an unremarried widow,
in accordance with warranty deed dated March 22, 1960, recorded
in O.R. 872, Page 595, Public Records of Pinellas County,
Florida; and
WHEREAS, property acquired by the City of Clearwater has
since been used and is presently improved by said Pierce Street
realignment, paving and extension; and
WHEREAS, the necessity for the right-of-way set out in
the above referred to deed is due to the fact that the City
of Clearwater was required to straighten out certain dangerous
curves which would otherwise have existed had said street
been paved in accordance with the plat of Hibiscus Gardens;
and,
(I.) A part of Lot 4, Block "C" HISBISCUS GARDENS,
as recorded in Plat Book 141 Page 57, of the
Public Records of Pinellas County, Florida,
and which is more particularly described as

along the East R.O.W. line, Betty Lane; thence
o S 89034'12" E 50.06 ft. to the line between
