WHEREAS Gulf-to-Flay Boulevard, also known as State HighUi,
way Number sixty (60), is one of the main thoroughfares provid-
ing ingress and ogress into, through,.and out of the City of
Clearwater, Florida; and
WHEREAS, it has been found desirable and necessary to
widen the present surfaced area of said roadway from its inter-
section with Highland Avenue on the West, and extending Eastward
to the waters of Tampa Bay, from the present four -foot lanes
to six -foot lanes to provide proper facilities; and
WHEREAS, after proper research and investigation, informa-
tion and evidence has been obtained from the public records of
the City of Clearwater, the public records of Pinellas County,
Florida, the records of the Pinellas County Commission, the re-
cords of the Pinellas County Tax Assessor, and from other sources,
showing and substantiating that there is at the present time a
one hundred foot (1001) right-of-way, consisting of fifty feet
(501) on either side of the center line, for Gulf-to-Bay Boulevard
from the point of its intersection with Highland Avenue on the
West, and extending Eastward to the waters of Tampa Bay;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER FLORIDA, IN SESSION DULY
AND REGULARLY ASSUIBLED, As FOLIFOWS:
1. That based upon the information obtained from the
public records of the City of Clearwater, the public records of
Pinellas County, Florida, the records of the Pinellas County Com-
mission, the records of the Pinellas County Tax Assessor, and
other sources, the City Commission finds and determines that
at the present time there is a one hundred foot (100') right-of-
way, consisting of fifty feet (501) either side of the center
line, for Gulf-to-Hay Boulevard from its intersection with
Highland Avenue on the West, and extending Eastward to the waters
of Tampa Bay.
2. That a certified copy of this resolution be forwarded
to the State Road Department in Tallahassee, Florida.
