RESOLUTION RECOGNIZING THE VISI T OF HIS EX-
CELLENCY, WALTER MULER, A14BASSADOR TO THE
UNITED S'T'ATES FROM THE REPUBLIC OF CHILE,
AND AWARDING HIM THE CLEARWATER MEDAL
WHEREAS, the City of Clearwater has established an
appropriate medal to be given by it to distinguished visitors
to the City and
WHEREAS, His Excellency, Walter huller, Ambassador of
the Republic of Chile to the United States
because of his

distinguished accomplishments in government and international
diplomacy, and because of his sincere friendship toward the
United States of America, has accepted an invitation to be
our Cityfs honored guest during the 1960 Fun IN Sun Festival;

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COW4ISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
IN SESSION DULY AND REGULARLY ASSEIy1BLED:
1. That the City of Clearwater officially recognizes
His Excellency, Walter 14filler, Ambassador of the Republic of
Chile to the United States, and appreciates his good will visit
to the City of Clearwater during its 1960 Fun IN Sun Festival.
2. That the City of Clearwater medal is hereby awarded
to His Excellency, Walter Muller, in recognition of his friend-
ship and good will occasioned by his visit among peoples of
our respective countries.
3. 'That a duplicate original of this Resolution, to-
gether with the Clearwater medal, shall be delivered to said
Walter huller, by the most appropriate means.
PASSED AND ADOPTED, this 21 day of March, 1960.
