NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
CLEARWATER, FLORIDA, IN SESSION DULY AND REGULARLY ASSEMBLED:

2. The purposes of said appropriation being to widen and extent;
the street right-of-way of Myrtle Avenue Northerly and Southerly as is
more fully set forth in the premises.
3. Tr.e City Manager shall cause written notice hereof to be given
the aforesaid owners or holders, as well as all persons, firms or corporations
in possession thereof or having aninterest therein, or their duly author.
ized agents, in accordance with Section 139 of the Charter of the City of
Clearwater.
PASSED AND ADOPTED, this 21st
WHEREAS, it has been determined that the right-of-way of Myrtle
Avenue extended Northerly and Southerly must now be obtained for the
construction and extension of said Myrtle Avenue within the City lim-
its of the City of Clearwater in order to facilitate the free circula-
tion and flow of traffic of all kinds within the municipal limits; and, "
WHEREI), the City of Clearwater has the necessary authority, as
well as the necessary finances, to acquire said right-of-way, as well
as the necessary finances to participate in the construction of said
project pursuant to various agreements with Pinellas County and the
State Road Department; and,
WHEREAS, the State Road Department has acquired additional satis-
factions or deeds be obtained in order to correct the title, satisfy
mortgages or extend the necessary right-of-way for said Myrtle Avenue;
and,
WHEREAS, considerable effort has been made by the City of Clear-
water in order to acquire the necessary right-of-way and it is now ap-
parent that condemnation proceedings must be filed against the remaining
property owners whose parcels have not yet been acquired by the City of
Clearwater for said purpose; -
1. To forthwith acquire and appropriate in fee simple absolute,
or obtain partial releases or satisfaction of mortgages covering all of
the respective properties described in the attached exhibit referred to
as "Exhibit X", which is incorporated herein and made a part by reference,
which said properties or mortgages are owned, head or occupied by the
persons, firms or corporations indicated in said "Exhibit X", as weli as
the residences, the legal disabilities, and interest of said property
owners or holders.
