WHEREAS, the City of Clearwater, Pinellas County,
Florida, herein called the Applicant, after thorough
consideration of the various aspects of the contemplated
sewage project, following the study of the available
data as furnished by their Consulting Engineers, has here-
by determined that it will be and is desirable and is in
the public interest and to that end it is to the benefit
of all concerned, that action preliminary to the filing
of an application for Federal Grant for sewage treatment
works be filed with the Department of Health, Education
and Welfare (U.S. Public Health Service); and,
WHEREAS, it is necessary in the filing of such appli-
cation and the execution of other papers and documents that
an authorized representative of the City of Clearwater,
Florida be authorized to sign such application, papers and
documents for the City;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF CLBARWATER FLORIDA, IN SESSION DULY AND RE-
GULARLY ASSEMBLED, AS FOU&1S:
That Alex D. Finch, as Mayor be and is herewith authorized
to sign the application and all necessary papers and documents
relative to the conduct of the proposed Sanitary Sewage Pro-
ject under the conditions of the Federal Grant.
PASSED AND ADOPTED, this /}day of September, 1959.
