WHEREAS, Donald Roebling died on August 28, 1959;
and,
M-ILREAS, the City of Clearwater has reason to feel
a very real and deep sense of loss in his death, because
of his loyalty as a citizen, his public spirit, his gen-
erosity, and his assistance in the growth and develop-

;? ? WHEREAS, Mr. Roebling was always eager to help in

civic projects; he was active in promoting and build-
ing the City Auditorium and many other buildings, among
which was Mlorton Plant Hospital; and,
1MEREAS, he was known for his various civic, reli-
gious and charitable organizations and associations in
their projects; and,
WHEREAS, it is desired to gratefully acknowledge the
many contributions of life, love, service and material bene-'
fits made to this City by Donald Roebling;
NOW THEREFORE, DE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COi?1i FISSION
OF ?HE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA, IN SESSION DULY
AND REGULARLY ASSEMBLED, AS FOLLOWS-
1. That the City Commission of the City of Clearwater,
personally and on behalf of the citizens of the City, regret-
fully recognize the passing of Donald Roebling, and feel that
the City has sustained a great loss because of his death.
2. That the City Commission and the Citizens of this
Fair City will always remember Mr. Roebling with sincere
gratitude for the splendid services, achievements and gifts.
3. That a certified copy of this Resolution be deliver-
ed to the family of Donald Roebling.
