WHEREAS, the City of Clearwater, Florida, is
the owner of the Clearwater Industrial Park; and,
WHEREAS, the Clearwater Committee for Industrial
Development has been appointed by the City of Clearwater
and charged with certain responsibilities including the
administration and development of the Clearwater Indus-
trial Park; and,
WHEREAS, the development of the Clearwater Indus-
trial. Paik is important to the economy of Pinellas County;
and,
WHMEEAS, the extension of Belcher Road is import-
ant to the development of the Clearwater Industrial Park
in that it-would provide better access to the Park and
from the Park to U. S. Highway No. 19, and would provide
access to certain sections of the Park where none now exists;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF CLF.ARWATER, FLORIDA, IN SESSION DULY AND REGU-
LARLY ASSEMBLED, AS FOLLOWS:
That the Board of County Commissioners of Pinellas
County be and are hereby requested to improve and pave Belcher
Road Northward to Sunset Point Road.
