WHEREAS, the Trustees Calvary Baptist Church,
a non-profit corporation tinder 'the laws of the State
of Florida, did convey by warranty deed, property to
the City•of Cloarwater, a, municipal corporation, on
November 9, 1955, said deed being recorded in Deed
Book 1565, Pane 564, Public Records of Pinellas County,
Florida; and,
WHEREAS, the East 3 ft. of property described
in the aforesaid deed was reserved by said Grantor as
an easement for sidewalk purposes,,provided the City
exercised the same by paving it within ten (10) years
from date; and,
WHEREAS, on November 21, 1955, the City of Clear-
water did obtain an easement adjacent and contiguous to
the aforementioned sidewalk lying immediately East there-
of and parallel to the same, which is described as fol-
lows:
WHEREAS, the City does not intend to pave said
sidewalk; and,
WHEREAS, the Trustees Calvary Baptist Church hereto-
fore requested the City of C).earwdter to abandon the afore-
said sidewalk, as well as the aforesaid easement; and,
WHEREAS, the City of Clearwater does not intend to
use said easements for any municipal purpose and the said
Trustees Calvary Baptist Church has represented that it de-
sires and needs the same vacated in order that certain ex-
pansions he made to its' pre; rant church buildings;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMISSION
OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA, IN SESSION DULY AND RE-
GULARLY. ASSTMBLED, AS FOLLOWS:

Baptist Church, and have the same filed of record.
