WIiERBUSS the City Commission of the City of Clearwatorp
Florida, dooms it advisable and in the best interest of the people
of the City of Clearwater to close and vacate that portion of the
public thoroughfare located in said City and described ast
SKYVIEW AVENUE,,from Druid Road south to the
Municipal limits of the City of Clearwater,
LESS the intersections of Barry and Tuscola
Roads with said avenue in the plats of Druid
Groves Subdivision,,Druid Groves Re-Plat and
First Addition to Gates Knoll.;
AND WHEREAS, said Avenue has never been opened to nor used by the
?j public nor improved, and
= WHEREASq said Avenue is not necessary to afford ingress
qnd egress to and from any property in the City of Clearwater and
the closing of said alley between said points does not and will not
jeopardize or infringe the rights or privileges of any person or
persons, but it is deemed necessary that the City be allowed to use
said land for the hereinafter mentioned purpose.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Commission of the
City of Clearwater, Florida in session duly and regularly assembled
as follo"3 s
That the portions of SKYVIEW AVENUE extending from Druid
Road South to the Municipal limits of the City of Clearwater, LESS
THE TATERSECTIONS THEREOF WITH BARRY ROAD AND TUSCOLA ROAD, in the
Plate of DRUID GROVES SUBDIVISION, according to Plat Book 15, Page
4611` DRUID GROVES REPLAT, according to Plat Book 46, Page I and
FIRST ADDITION TO GATES KNOLL, according to Plat Book 'j$, Page k3,
all said plats being as recorded in the Public Rewords of Pinellas
County, Florida be and the same hereby are closed, vacated and re-
.eased from public uae by the said City of Clearwater, Florida and
the property formerly included in said SKYVIEW AVENUE shall revert
or pass to the owners entitled thereto by operation of lawX provided
however* there is reserved in favor of the City of Clearwater an
easement over said property extending from Druid Road to Stevenson's
Creek for maintenance and operation of drainage and/or utility facilities
