WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of
Clearwater, the Board of County Commissioners of
Pinellas County, Florida, and Road Hoard Member,
Albert L. Rogero, of the State Road Department of
Florida, have met to discuss the construction of roads,
drainage, etc.,in Pinellas County during the current
fiscal year; and,
WHEREAS, it was agreed that Myrtle Avenue from
Palmetto Street on the North to Lakeview Street on the
South and Lakeview Street from Myrtle Avenue to South
Ft. Harrison Avenue, in the City of Clearwater, Florida,
should be constructed this year with a joint use of second-
ary road funds and funds to be contributed by the City of
Clearwater.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COM1IS-
SION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA, meeting in,Special
Session in the City Hall Auditorium on Wednesday, February
11, 1959, beginning at 1:30 P14, THAT:
1. The Hoard of County Commissioners of Pinellas County,
Florida are requested to designate Myrtle Avenue in the City
of Clearwater from Palmetto Street on the North to Lakeview
Street on the South and Lakeview Street from Myrtle Avenue
to South Ft. Harrison Avenue, as a road to be constructed
during the current'fiecal year by the State Road Depaxtment
of Florida, with the use of secondary road funds; and,
BE IT FMIER RESOLVED, That the City of Clearwater
agrees to'eontribute the sun of $140,000.00 towards the
cost of construction of this project;
Provided, However,,that if the State Road Department
