No 58-11 WHEREAS, after public hearing on the 30thday of
September 195.7_, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, %
Florida, determined that certain work and improvements hereinafter
described should be done and made, and,
=MMEAS, pursuant thereto said improvements have been

Construct a pavement, curb, necessary drainage
structures, necessary sanitary sewers and ap-
purtenances in Chestnut Street, from the East "
line of East Avenue, easterly to the intersect-
ion of the West paving line of Court Street,
Clearwater, Florida.
The properties facing and abutting these improvements are deemed
to derive special benefits therefrom.
7HEREAS, under the provisions of Section 123 and other per-
tinent provisions of the City Charter, after said improvements shall
have been completed, the City Commission shall assess the cost thereof
against the properties facing and abutting and receiving benefits from
said improvements so made; and,
WHEREAS, certain parcels of real estate facing and abut-
ting and in the vicinity of said improvements have been benefitted
thereby and the pro-rata cost thereof shall be assessed against-such
property;
NO7;7, THEAEFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF CLEAXIATER, FLOaIDA, IV SESSION DULY AND aEGU-
LARLY ASSEMBLED, AS FOLLOWS:
1. That the above described improvements in the area '
of Chestnut Street, Clearwater, Florida,
be and the same are hereby accepted and approved as having been 'completed.
2. That the following. described properties facing and abut-
ting and in the vicinity of the aforesaid improvements are hereby deemed
to have been•benefitted by said improvements in the following proportions
of the cost thereof, and the same are hereby assessed in accordance
with the following schedule:

3. That if assessments hereih made are not,paid within
thirty (30) dayb from the date hereof`, the City Treasurer is here-
by diroc?ed to Issue and sell ceetificates of indebtedneds under
Section 124 of the City Charter, which certificates shall bear in-
terest at the rate of eight ($ a) per annum against the foregoing
properties for the assessments herein made immediately upon the
expiration of the foregoing thirty--day period.
