RESOLUTION.,
No. 58-4r
WHEREAS, the Honorable Ricardo M. Arias E.
Ambassador to the United States from the Republic of
Panama, has graciously presented to the City of Clear-
water a picture or His Excellency Don Ernesto de Is
Guardia, Jr., President of the Republic of Panama, as
a token of friendship from that Republic to the United
States of America and the City of Clearwater; and,
WHEREAS, it is desired to acknowledge this gift
and express appreciation in connection therewith;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY•COM-
M196ION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA IN
SESSION DULY AND REGULARLY ASSMMLED0 AS MLLOWS:
11 That the gift from Honorable Ricardo M.
Arias Ev Ambassador of the Republic of Panama, of a
picture of His Excellency Don Ernesto de la Guardia,
Jr., President of the Republic of Panama, and the ex-
pression of friendship from that Republic to the City
of Clearwater, are gratefully acknowledged,
2, That said picture shall be displayed in an
appropriate place, with proper identification thereunder,
3, That a duplicate original of this Resolution
shall be furnished the Honorable Ricardo M. Arias E, Embassy
of Panama, Washington, D. C.
