'A tft :•,.M1 ' WHEREAS, the City of Clearwater wishes to pro-
vide a recreational facility and bathing beach for its
Negro citizens and after consideration of the same it
has been determined that a suitable facility for this :.- •'

WHEREAS, said Causeway is a limited access facil-
ity under the control of the State Road Department of
the State of Florida; ?,.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COM-
MISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWAT.ER, FLORIDA, IN SESSION
DULY AND REGULARLY ASSEMBLED AS FOLLOWS:
1. That the State Road Department of Florida is
hereby requested to allow the City of Clearwater, Florida
