WHEREAS, the City Library Director and the City
Librrary.Board have recommended that the City Commission
request the Florida State Librarian to make or have made
a survey of the library facilities in the City of Clear-
water,-Florida, for the purpose of making recommendations
for future improvements of library facilities in the City;'
and,
WHEREAS, it is understood that such a survey can
be obtained without cost to the City and the City desires
such a survey and recommendations pursuant thereto'at
the earliest possible moment;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED )3Y THE CITY COM-
MISSION•OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA, IN SESSION
DULY AND REGULARLY ASSEMBLED, AS FOLLOWS:
1. That the Florida State Librarian is hereby
requested as soon as,'possible to.mdke or have made a
survey of the library facilities of the City of Clear-
water, Florida, and to make recommendation to the City
Commission of said City concerning suggested improve-
ments thereto.
