WHEREAS, the plat of Hibiscus Gardens Subdivis-

ion, as recorded in Plat Book 14, page 58, Public He-
cords of Pinellas County, Florida, indicates a right-
of-way for that portion of Franklin Street bounded on
the East by Avanda Court and on the West by Lincoln
Avenue, also known as Floral Way, which is in excess

of the amount required by the City for right-of-way

purposes; and,
WHEREAS, the City has recently authorized the im-

completion of which leaves excess righb-of-way as shown,
on said plat which is not required by the City and which
should be released and quit-claimed to the persons en-
titled thereto by law; and,
WHEREAS, it is deemed to be to the advantage and
best interest of the City that the same be accomplished;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATEd, IN SESSION DULY AND REGULARLY
ASSEMBLED, AS FOLLOWS:
1. That the following described portions of streets
in Hibiscus Gardens Subdivision, Plat Book 14, page 58,
Pinellas County Records, are hereby vacated and released
and the City of Clearwater hereby quit-claims and releases
all of its right, title and interest therein to persons
entitled thereto by law, subject only to existing ease-
ments for utilities, if any:
(a) That portion of Franklin Street, from
Avanda Court on the East to Floral way,,
also known as Lincoln Avenue, on the
West, South of a line parallel to and
35 feet South of the center line of said
Franklin Street.
