HEREAS the City Commission of the City of Clearwater,
ems it advisable and in the best inerest of the people
Begin at the Northwest corner of Block "D", Hibiscus
Gardens as filed in Plat Book 14, page 56, public
records of Pinellas County, Florida; for a Point of
Beginning: run tbwmWesterly, along the North line
of said Block "D" extended, 7.96 feet to a point
being on the extension of the West line of Block "B"
of Hibiscus Gardens; run thence Southerly along said
West line of Block "B" extended, to a point 7.83 feet
Westerly of the Southwest corner of Lot 9, Block "D",
and intersected by the South lot line of Lot 9 extended;
run thence Southerly along said West line of Block "B"
extended to a point 7.75 feet West of the Southwest
corner of Lot 18, Block "D" and intersected by an
extension of said South line of Block "D"; run thence
Easterly along the extension of the South line of
Block "D", 7.75 feet to the Southwest corner of Lot 18,
Block "D"; run thence Northerly along the West line of
Block "D", 203.78 feet to the Point of Beginning.
WHEREAS, the above described portion of Lincoln Avenue h
never been opened to public use, has never been paved, and no
adjoining or abutting property has been assessed for any improve-
meets of said portion of said street, and
WHEREAS, the above described portion of Lincoln Avenue is
not necessary to afford ingress and egress to and from any pro-
perty in the City of Clearwater, Florida and the closing of
said street between the said points does not and will not jeopar-
dize or infringe the rights or privileges of any person or persons,
and
(causes said Lincoln Avenue to be out of line with the right-of-way;
thereof to the North and therefore creates an undesirable jog in
said Lincoln Avenue.
