WHEREAS, the City Commission has been advised that there is
pending before the Florida Railroad and Public Utilities Commission
an application of Rockana Carriers, Inc., in Docket No. 4753-CCT,
for a certificate of public convenience and necessity to operate
an auto transportation company as a common carrier of the commodi-
ties set forth in said application for the State of Florida gen-
erally, the effect of which, if granted, will amount to the authori:-

within the limits of the City of Clearwater, Florida trucks and vehicles for the purpose of carrying bulk products minerals dry AI $ "'

WHEREAS, favorable action by the Florida Railroad and Public
Utilities Commission permitting the transportation of such heavy

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Commission of the
City of Clearwater, Florida, in session duly and regularly assembled,
as follows:
