RESOLUTION EXPRESSING APPRECIATION TO THE MEMBERS
OF THE STATE CABINET FOR ASSISTANCE IN SENDING
CLEAVATEit BOMBER SOFT BALL TEAM TO WORLD SOFT
BALI, TOURNAMENT. i r- ...... WHEREAS, Clearwater, Florida Bomber Soft Ball Team has won the Southern Regional Soft Ball Tournament and is thus an-
titled to participate in the World Men's Soft Ball Tournament
soon to be held in Sacramento, California, and
T-. WHEREAS, the members of said Soft Ball Team, in addition

to being excellent athletes, are worthy representatives of the
Florida citizenry and are each good will ambassadors for the
State of Florida, and
WHEREAS, the Cabinet of the State of Florid, recogniz-
ing this fact and the value to the State of Florida in good will
and favorable publicity in having this Soft Ball Team partici-
pate in said World Tournament has, through its Development Com-
>' mission, appropriated the sun of3, 500.00 as a contribution
toward the expense of sending this Team to said `tournament, and
WHEREAS, the .City Commission of the City of Clearwater,
