07/16/1956 (2) 1,.. 41 ?t 7 14' k-?.,:?,,t,' NN' Lit, 4, A, i - v.: 'T ?V itE-SOLUTION WHEItEAS., The city or Clearwater, Florida filces an emer- gency in connection with the preservation of Eldorado Avenue on Clearwater Beach and of all of the street ends which run" from Eldorado Avenue to the Gulf of Mexico between Lot 8, Block 2, Mandalay Subdivision on the South,and Lot 6, Block 61, Mandalay Subdivision on the North, in that the action of wind and water has eroded the area to the Wast of said Eldorado Avenue including said stroet ends, to such.,.an ex- tent that unless protection in the nature of goins and bulk- heads or sea walls is provided, said public thoroughfare will be destroyed, and WHEREAS', the Engineering Department of the City of'Olear-' water has prepared plans and specifications for the installation of the necessary groins and bulkheads for this purpose, which have been approved by the City of Clearwater and hro hereby ratified an&approved, and WHEREAS., in order that said work can be accomplished, it is necessary that the City obtain title to the property set out on the list hereto attached, which is made a part hereof, either by gift, purchase or condemnation, and WHEREAS, it is desired to declare the public necessity thereof and to authorize the necessary action in connection therewith; 1101111P THEREFOREP BE IT AESOLVED by the City 0 orrmission of the City of Clearwater, Florida, in session duly and regu- larly assembled as follows: 1.
