'WHEREAS
has authorized the construction and comp?etion of a large

number of civic improvements within a short period of time, and
WHEREAS, the City is in need of funds to finance dapital
expenditures in improving the municipal auditorim and for other

purposes;
NOW$ THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Commission of
the City ofOlearwatert Florida, in session duly and regularly
assembled as follows:
l.That the proper officials of the City ofClearwater are
hereby authorized to borrow a aum not exceeding $175,000 witi,
interest at the rate of 3% per annum on amounts borrowed, pay-

able in equal annual payments of principal and interest on or

before five years from date, with the proceeds to be used for
payment of capital improvements to the municipal auditorium of
the City.
2* Said obligation shall be repaid from ad valorum taxes
for the year 1956 and subsequent years.
. 3 The proper officials are hereby authorized to execute
such,note or notes and other documents as may be required to
accomplish the borrowing of such amount for the purposes in
dicated.
