AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
VACATING THE SOUTH 70 FEET OF PARKSTREAM AVENUE
RIGHT-OF-WAY LYING WEST OF LOT 19, BLOCK "G", AND
EAST OF LOT 5, BLOCK "H", COUNTRYPARK SUBDIVISION,
AND RETAINING THE FULL WIDTH AS A SIDEWALK,
DRAINAGE AND UTILITY EASEMENT; PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City of Clearwater, owns that right-of-way located in the City of
Clearwater, and depicted in Exhibit A attached hereto; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission finds that said right-of-way is not necessary for
municipal use and it is deemed to be to the best interest of the City and the general public that the
same be vacated; now, therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The following:
The South 70 feet of Parkstream Avenue right-of-way lying West of Lot 19, Block
"G" and East of Lot 5, Block "H", Countrypark Subdivision, as recorded in Plat
Boole 74, Page 69 of the Public Records of Pinellas County, Florida,

Y is hereby vacated, closed and released, and the City of Clearwater releases all of its right, title and
interest thereto, except that the City of Clearwater hereby retains a sidewalk, drainage and utility
easement over the full width of the described property for the installation and maintenance of any
and all public utilities thereon.
Section 2. The City Clerk shall record this ordinance in the public records of Pinellas
County, Florida, following adoption.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
