AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
ANNEXING CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY LOCATED AT THE
NORTHEAST CORNER OF OTTEN STREET AND KINGS
HIGHWAY, CONSISTING OF LOTS 9, 10, 11 AND 12, BLOCK B,
ZEPHYR GARDENS, WHOSE POST OFFICE ADDRESS IS 1809
KINGS HIGHWAY, INTO THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY,
AND REDEFINING THE BOUNDARY LINES OF THE CITY TO
INCLUDE SAID ADDITION; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

attached hereto as Exhibit A has petitioned the City of Clearwater to annex the property into the
City pursuant to Section 171.044, Florida Statutes, and the City has compiled with all applicable
requirements of Florida law in connection with this ordinance; now, therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The following-described property is hereby annexed into the City of Clearwater
and the boundary lines of the Cfty are redefined accordingly:
Lots 9, 10, 11 and 12, Block B, Zephyr Gardens, according to the
map or plat thereof as recorded in Plat Book 14 Page 22, of the
public records of Pinellas County, Florida. (A 98-10)
Section 2. The provisions of this ordinance are found and determined to be consistent
with the City of Clearwater Comprehensive Plan. The City Commission hereby accepts the
dedication of all easements, parks, rights-of-way and other dedications to the public which have
heretofore been made by plat, deed or user within the annexed property. The City Engineer, the
City Clerk and the Central Permitting Director are directed to include and show the property
described herein upon the official maps and records of the City.

Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon adoption. The City Clerk
shall file certified copies of this ordinance, including the map attached hereto, with the Clerk of the
Circuit Court and with the County Administrator of Pinellas County, Florida, within 7 days after
adoption, and shall file a certified copy with the Florida Department of State within 30 days after
1doption.
