6215-97r ORDINANCE NO. 6215.97 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA, RELATING TO THE SCHEDULE FOR SOLID WASTE COLLECTION RATES; AMENDING APPENDIX A, ARTICLE XXV PUBLIC WORKS--FEES, RATES AND CHARGES; SECTION (3)(c) SOLID WASTE COLLECTION RATES, CLEARWATER CODE OF ORDINANCES, PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA: Section 1. Appendix A, Article XXV. PUBLIC WORKS-FEES, RATES AND CHARGES, Section (3)(c) Solid Waste Collection Rates, Clearwater Code of Ordinances, is amended as follows: (C) Solid waste collection rates. 1. The charges set forth above shall be subject to adjustment for increases or decreases in the dump fee. Uniform increases or decreases shall be recommended by the director of solid waste and approved by the city manager, and a copy of the adjusted charges shall be filed with the city clerk. Other increases or decreases shall be subject to approval by the adoption of an ordinance by the city commission, upon the recommendation of the city manager. Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
