6158-974 1 ORDINANCE N0.6158.97 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA, AMENDING THE ZONING ATLAS OF THE CITY BY REZONING CERTAIN PROPERTY LOCATED EAST OF GREENWOOD AVENUE AND NORTH OF LaSALLE STREET, CONSISTING OF (1) THE EAST 20 FT. OF LOT 39 AND ALL OF LOT 40, BLOCK D, GREENWOOD PARK #2, AND (2) THE WEST 20 FT. OF LOT 39, BLOCK D, GREENWOOD PARK #2, WHOSE POST OFFICE ADDRESS IS 1112/1114 ENGMAN STREET, FROM PUBLIC/SEMIPUBLIC DISTRICT TO MULTI-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the amendment to the zoning atlas of the City as set forth in this ordinance is found to be reasonable, proper and appropriate, and Is consistent with the City's Comprehensive Plan; now, therefore, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA: : ,14 Section 1. The following described property in Clearwater, Florida, is hereby rezoned, and the zoning atlas of the City is amended as follows: Property The East 20 ft. of Lot 39 and the West 20 ft. of Lot 39, and all of Lot 40, Block D, Greenwood Park No. 2, Subdivision of the City of Clearwater, according to the map of plat thereof as recorded. in Plat Book 8,Page 16, of the public records of Pinellas County, Florida (Z97-05) Zoning District J From: Public/Semi-Public (PISP) To: Multiple-Family Residential (RM-12) Section 2. The Central Permitting Director is directed to revise the zoning atlas of the City in accordance with the foregoing amendment. Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon adoption, subject to the approval of the land use designation by the Pinellas County Board of County Commissioners and subject to a determination by the state land planning agency or the Administrative Commission of the State of Florida, as appropriate, of compliance with the applicable requirements of the Local Government Comprehensive Planning and Land Development Regulation Act, pursuant to § 163.3189, Florida Statutes.
