AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
VACATING THE WEST 3 FEET OF THE EAST 10-FOOT UTILITY
EASEMENT LYING IN LOT 8, EAST DRUID PARK SUBDIVISION,
LESS THE SOUTH 3 FEET AND THE NORTH 5 FEET; PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, it has been requested by Faith E. Doffermyre, owner of certain
real property located in the City of Clearwater, that the City vacate the utility
easement described herein; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission finds that said easement is not necessary for
municipal use and it is deemed to be to the best interest of the City and the
general public that the same be vacated; now, therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The following:
The West 3 feet of the East 10-foot utility easement lying in Lot 8,
East Druid Park Subdivision, as recorded in Plat Book 61, Page 67,
of the public records of Pinellas County, Florida, less the South 3
feet and the North 5 feet,
is hereby vacated, closed and released, and the City of Clearwater quitclaims and
releases all of its right, title and interest thereto.
Section 2. The City Clerk shall record this ordinance in the public
records of Pinellas County, Florida, following adoption.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
