5190-92 I m ORDINANCE: NO, 5190-92 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA, RELATING TO THE LAND DEVELOPMENT CODE; AMENDING SECTIONS 135.086 AND 135.092, CODE OF ORDINANCES, ALLOWING ART GALLERIES/STUDIOS AS A CONDITIONAL USE IN LIMITED OFFICE AND GENERAL OFFICE ZONING DISTRICTS; AMENDING SECTIONS 135.104, 135.110, 135.116, 135.122, 135.128, 135.134, AND 135.141, CODE OF ORDINANCES, ALLOWING ART GALLERIES/STUDIOS AS A PERMITTED USE IN THE BEACH COMMERCIAL, RESORT COMMERCIAL "TWENTY- FOUR," RESORT COMMERCIAL "TWENTY-EIGHT," GENERAL COMMERCIAL, HIGHWAY COMMERCIAL, COMMERCIAL CENTER AND URBAN CENTER DISTRICTS; AMENDING SECTION 136.025, CODE OF ORDINANCES, TO ESTABLISH SUPPLEMENTARY CONDITIONAL USE STANDARDS FOR ART GALLERIES/STUDIOS; AMENDING SECTION 137.005, CODE OF ORDINANCES, TO DEFINE "ART GALLERY/STUDIO;" PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA: Section 1. Subsection (11) is added to Section 135.086, Code of Ordinances, to read: Sec. 135.086. Conditional uses. Within Limited Office Districts, the following uses may be allowed as conditional uses: (1 Veterinary Offices. (2 Level I group care. (3 Level II group care. (4) Level III group care. (5) Congregate care. (6) Nursing homes. (7) Child day care. (8) Commercial or trade schools. (9) Noncommercial parking. (10 Residential shelters. 11 Art galleries/studios. Section 2. Subsection (6) is added to Section 135.092, Code of Ordinances, as amended by Ordinance 5101-91, to read: Sec. 135.092. Conditional uses. Within General Office Districts, the following uses may be allowed as conditional uses: (1) Veterinary Offices. (2) Nursing homes. (3) Child day care. (4) Commercial or trade schools. (7) Television and radio broadcast studios, provided that external equipment or facilities not ordinarily appurtenant to office usage, including but } not limited to antennas and satellite dishes, shall be prohibited within the district.
