ORDINANCE NO. 5151-91
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
RELATING TO GIFT CERTIFICATES AND COUPON BOOKS;
REPEALING CHAPTER 81, CODE OF ORDINANCES, RELATING TO
GIFT CERTIFICATES AND COUPON BOOKS; PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the provisions of Chapter 81, Code of Ordinances, relating to
gift certificates and coupon books, have been reviewed with the objective of
"sunsetting" those provisions which are provided for under state law, or which
no longer continue to serve a useful purpose, and it has been determined that the
chapter in its entirety should be repealed; now, therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1. Chapter 81, Code of Ordinances, consisting of Sections 81.01
through and including 81.04, is hereby repealed.
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
