ORDINANCE NO. 5150-91

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
RELATING TO AUCTION SALES OF JEWELRY, PRECIOUS STONES,
AND BRIC-A-BRAC; REPEALING CHAPTER 80, CODE OF
ORDINANCES, RELATING TO SUCH SALES; PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the provisions of Chapter 80, Code of Ordinances, relating to the
auction sales of jewelry, precious stones, and bric-a-brac, have been reviewed
with the objective of "sunsetting" those provisions which are provided for under
state law, or which no longer continue to serve a useful purpose, and it has been
determined that the chapter in its entirety should be repealed; now, therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1. Chapter 80, Code of Ordinances, consisting of Sections 80.01
through and including 80.36, is hereby repealed.

Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
