ORDINANCE NO. 5149-91
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
" RELATING TO SECONDHAND GOODS; REPEALING CHAPTER 79,
CODE OF ORDINANCES, RELATING TO THE SALE OF SECONDHAND
GOODS; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the provisions of Chapter 79, Code of Ordinances, relating to the
sale of secondhand goods, have been reviewed with the objective of "sunsetting"
those provisions which are provided for under state law, or which no longer
continue to serve'a useful purpose, and it has been determined that the chapter
in its entirety should be repealed; now, therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1. Chapter 79, Code of Ordinances, consisting of Sections 79.01
through and including 79.31, is hereby repealed.

Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
