AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
RELATING TO STREET ARTISTS AND CRAFTSMEN; REPEALING
CHAPTER 78, CODE OF ORDINANCES, RELATING TO THE
LICENSING OF STREET ARTISTS AND CRAFTSMEN; PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the provisions of Chapter 78, Code of Ordinances, relating to the
licensing of street artists and craftsmen, have been reviewed with the objective
of "sunsetting" those provisions which are provided for under state law, or which
no longer continue to serve a useful purpose, and it has been determined that the
chapter in its entirety should be repealed in favor of Sections 110.04 and
110.05, City Code, which remain in effect; now, therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1. Chapter 78, Code of Ordinances, consisting of Sections 78.01
through and including 78.34, is hereby repealed.
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
