5125-91OROUN NCE NO. 5125-91 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA, AMENDING THE FUTURE LAND USE PLAN ELEMENT OF THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN OF THE CITY, TO CHANGE THE LAND USE DESIGNATION FOR CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY LOCATED AT THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF THE INTERSECTION OF STATE STREET AND BETTY LANE, CONSISTING OF PART OF LOTS 11, 12 AND 18, E.A. MARSHALL'S SUBDIVISION, FROM UNCLASSIFIED TO RECREATION; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the amendment to the future land use plan element of the comprehensive plan of the City as set forth in this ordinance is found to be reasonable, proper and appropriate, and in compliance with Florida law; now, therefore, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA: Section 2. The City Commission does hereby certify that this ordinance is Section 1. The future land use plan element of the comprehensive plan of the City of Clearwater is amended by changing the land use category for the hereinafter described property as follows: Property Land Use Category See Exhibit A attached hereto, From: Unclassified (LUP 90-20) To: Recreation consistent with the City's comprehensive plan. Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon adoption, contingent upon and subject to the adoption of Ordinance No. 5072-90, and subject to the approval of the land use designation by the Pinellas County Board of County Commissioners.
