NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEAR WATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1. After its evaluation of all evidence presented at a proper
public hearing, the City of Clearwater, acting by and through its City
Commission, by the authority and under the provisions of Chapter 171.044,
Florida Statutes, hereby annexes into the corporate limits of the City of
Clearwater, Florida, and redefines the boundary lines of said City so as
to include the following described parcels of real property in Pinellas
County, Florida, and establishes fire district classifications therefor:
A parcel of land lying in the North 1/2 of Section 7,
Township 29 South, Range 16 East, Pinellas County,
Florida, and being more particularly described as follows:
Com .encing at the SW corner of the SE 1/4 of the NW 1/4
of Section 7, Township 29 South, Range 16 East; run thence
S 89.56'25" E, 954. 81 feet along the East/West centerline
of said Section 7, Township 29 South, Range 16 East to the
SE corner of Lot 26, Hillcrest Estates, First Addition as
recorded in Plat Book 63, page 48 of the Public Records of
Pinellas County, Florida, the P. O. B.; run thence N 21.02138"
W, 394.69 feet along the Easterly line of said Lot 26, HiUcrest
Estates, First Addition to a point on the Easterly right-of-way
line of State Road 590; run thence N 35.50' 10'1 W, 17.00 feet
to a point on the Easterly right-of-way line of said State Road 590;

Director are directed to include and set out and show upon the official maps
and records of the City of Clearwater the foregoing property and the fire
district classifications therefor.
Section 4. This ordinance and notice of the proposed enactment of
same have been properly advertised in a newspaper of general circulation in
accordance with Chapter 166.041, Florida Statutes, and Chapter 171.044,
Florida Statutes.

its passage and enrollment in.the City of Clearwater Ordinance Book and
a copy thereof being filed in the office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court of
Pinellas County, Florida. In accordance with Chapter 171. 091, and Chapter
171.044, Florida Statutes, a certified copy shall be filed with the Department
of State of the State of Florida.

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
ANNEXING A PORTION OF THE NORTH i /.2 OF SECTION 7,
TOWNSHIP 29 SOUTH, RANGE 16 EAST, PINELLAS COUNTY,
FLORIDA, AND A PORTION OF THE SW 1/4 OF SECTION 17,
TOWNSHIP 28 SOUTH, RANGE 16 EAST, PINELLAS COUNTY,
FLORIDA, TOGETHER WITH ALL ABUTTING STREETS,
INTO THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER,
FLORIDA, AND REDEFINING THE BOUNDARY LINES OF THE
CITY TO INCLUDE SAID ADDITIONS ACCORDING TO THE
PROVISIONS OF THE CHARTER OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER,
FLORIDA, AND THE LAWS OF FLORIDA; AFTER PROPER
PUBLIC NOTICE AND PUBLIC HEARING THEREON, ESTABLISHING
FIRE'DISTRICT CLASSIFICATIONS FOR SAID PROPERTY;
PROVIDING FOR PROPER NOTICE OF PROPOSED ENACTMENT;
AND.PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE OF THIS ORDINANCE.
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
received a sworn petition from Anthony L. Shoemaker, City Manager, of
the City of Clearwater, Florida, requesting the City to annex a certain parcel
of real estate described hereinafter, owned by it, into the corporate limits
of the City of Clearwater, Florida; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
also received a sworn petition from Edward E. Winner and Louise A.
Winner, his wife, 'requesting the City to annex a certain parcel of real estate
described hereinafter, owned by them, into the corporate limits of the City
of Clearwater, Florida; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission, after due consideration of said
requests for annexation, at a regular meeting held on February 2, 1978, voted
unanimously to accept said requests and authorized the proper officials to
set up a public hearing thereon for the determination and establishing of
fire district classifications and to prepare an ordinance to annex said parcels
of real estate into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater in accordance
with the provisions of Chapter 171, Florida Statutes; and
WHEREAS, art April 6., 1978, the City Commission of the City of
Clearwater, after proper public notice, held a public hearing for the
determination and establishment of fire district classifications for said
real property;

Florida Statutes, hereby annexes into the corporate limits of the City of
Clearwater, Florida, and redefines the boundary lines of said City so as
to include the following described parcels of real property in Pinellas
County, Florida, and establishes fire district classifications therefor:

COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1. After its evaluation of all evidence presented at a proper

Township 29 South, Range 16 East, Pinellas County,
Florida, and being more particularly described as follows:
Commencing at the SW corner of the SE 1/4 of the NW 1/4
of Section 7, Township 29 South, Range 16 East; run thence
S 8905612511 E, 954. 81 feet along the ,East/West centerline
of said Section 7, Township 29 South, Range 16 East to -the
SE corner of Lot 26, Hillcrest Estatea, First Addition as

same have been properly advertised in a newspaper of general circulation in
accordance with Chapter 166. 041, Florida Statutes, and Chapter 171.044,

Section 5. This ordinance shall become effective immediately upon
its passage and enrollment in the City of Clearwater Ordinance Book and
a copy thereof being filed in the office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court of
Pinellas County, Florida. In accordance with Chapter 171.091, and Chapter
171.044, Florida Statutes, a certified copy shall be filed with the Department
of State of the State of Florida.
