WHEREAS it has been requested b

owner of certain real property in Chautauqua Units One and Two in the City
of Clearwater, Florida, that the City of Clearwater, Florida, vacate certain
lots and rights-of-way; and
WHEREAS, after proper public notice and public hearing thereon,
the City Commission finds that said lots and rights-of-way are not necessary
nor required for municipal use and it is deemed to be to the best interest and : i
advantage of the City and the general public that the same be vacated;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the following:
All the lots and streets lying in and abutting that portion
of Blocks 21, 22, 23 and 28 lying Northeast of the North-
easterly right-of-way line of U. S. Highway No. 19 (a 200 foot
right-of-way) and that portion of Blocks 26 and 27 lying Northeast
of aforementioned Northeasterly right-of-way line and lying
Northwesterly of Florida Power Corporation right-of-way per
Instrument #993727 and Blocks 29 and 30, all being in Chautauqua
Unit One, Section B, as recorded in Plat Book 9, page 57 of
the Public Records of Pinellas County, Florida, lying within
the NE 1/4 of Section 31, Township 28 South, Range 16 East;
AND
That portion of right-of-way adjacent to Blocks 1, 2, 3 and 4,
Chautauqua Unit Two, Section A, as recorded in Plat Book 9,
page 146 of the Public Records of Pinellas County, Florida, lying
West of aforementioned Florida Power Corporation right-of-way,
lying within the NW 1/4 of Section 32, Township 28 South, Range
16 East,
be and the same is hereby vacated, closed and released, and the City of
Clearwater hereby quit claims and releases all of its right, title and interest

Section 2. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to record this
ordinance in the Public Records of Pinellas County, Florida.
Section 3. Notice of'the proposed enactment of this ordinance has
been properly advertised in a newspaper of general circulation in accordance
with Chapter 166. 041, Florida Statutes.
Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective ixmnediately upon
its passage.
